Definition of Black and White (Monochrome) Photography
A work is considered monochrome only if it contains shades of grey, including pure black and pure white.
A black-and-white image with a full single tone of one colour is still considered a monochrome work and may be entered in the black-and-white category; it may also be reproduced in black and white in a FIAP-patronaged catalogue.
However, a black-and-white image modified with partial toning or the addition of colour becomes a colour (polychrome) work and must be entered in the colour category; such works must be reproduced in colour in a FIAP-patronaged catalogue.

STREETPHOTO (W/B - COLOR)
Definition of Streetphoto
Street photography is a genre that captures spontaneous, unposed moments of everyday life in public spaces. Images should show unplanned encounters or situations. It is not essential that a street or urban setting literally appear, but the image must clearly convey human presence or evidence of it, whether through people or through spaces and objects that clearly suggest human activity.
Only spontaneous images are accepted, without intervention by the photographer, with minimal editing that does not alter reality and preserving the truthfulness of the scene, following the combined criteria of FIAP (Traditional Photography)
Complementary rules:
Staged scenes, reenactments, or images involving hired models or directed persons will not be accepted.
Digital manipulations that significantly alter the reality of the scene are not allowed: HDR, focus stacking, adding or removing elements, excessive vignetting or creative effects, darkening/lightening or blurring to hide elements. Only general adjustments are permitted (contrast, saturation, white balance, cropping, cleaning sensor spots, etc.).
In case of doubt regarding the suitability of an image for this section, the criteria of the FIAP “Traditional Photo” definition shall prevail.
