Competition description

Aquest concurs fotogràfic es va instituir a l’any 2002 com homenatge a la persona de Santiago Piñol, soci d’AFOCER des l’any 1973 i resident al barri del Pont Vell.
Santiago, persona molt popular tant a Cerdanyola com a Ripollet, ha immortalitzat des d’antany els diversos esdeveniments que han succeït en aquestes dues poblacions, especialment les festes que es celebren en el barri on residia.
En el seu honor, AFOCER juntament amb l’Associació de Veïns del Barri del Pont Vell, organitza cada any el Concurs Fotogràfic Santiago Piñol, les obres més representatives del qual, s’exposen posteriorment en les dues poblacions.
